Project Summary

Within the project activities university students together with experts on CSR will be involved in the development, piloting, approbation and optimisation of the following intellectual outputs:

IO1 CSRI4.0 Competence Framework with Curriculum.

IO2 Training course on the implication of the Industry 4.0 on the CSR.

IO3 Lecturer`s Manual with support set.

On its completion the project will:

– Outline areas of complementing with CSR in Industry 4.0 in concrete taught subjects according to existing curricula

– Provide country specific information regarding the degree, level of coverage and implementation of the EU CSR approach concerning changing economic environment due to Industry 4.0 in the field of developing of stidents` knowledge

– Identify shortfalls in current business and management programmes in universities regarding the challenges to CSR.

– Create solid base for understanding and coping with the reality of internationalization, globalization and digitalization trends in national and world economy.

The NFEDP and its partner organizations from Bulgaria, Germany, Spain and Serbia within the work on the project “Adaptation of strategies for corporate social responsibility to address the implications of the Industry 4.0” (2020-1-BG01-KA203-079025) under the ERASMUS+ Programme concluded the phase of preparation of an analysis about the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The Analysis covered the following fields: The EU concept of CSR and EU recommendations (Green paper) in the field of CSR, Legislation on CSR and good practice examples of socially responsible companies in the EU, Regional characteristics in the field of CSR in project countries, Current situation on company level regarding CSR in the participating countries, Review of existing curricula and training programs related to CSR as well as comparison with the needs and identification of gaps.

The Federation continues the implementation of the ERASMUS+ project “Adaptation of strategies for corporate social responsibility to address the implications of the Industry 4.0” (2020-1-BG01-KA203-079025) with design of the structure of the concerned thematic areas. The partners foresee the developed materials to cover the following chapters: Evolution of CSR, Technologies coming with the Industry 4.0, Emerging social challenges and New strategic CSR model.

The NFEDP and the partner organizations within the project “Adaptation of strategies for corporate social responsibility to address the implications of the Industry 4.0” (2020-1-BG01-KA203-079025) launched an online survey in order to identify certain economy branches deeply challenged by Industry 4.0 due to training gaps in some existing university programs. The survey comprises separate questionnaires for students, lecturers and business experts. The covered areas are: Dimensions of CSR in digital economy, CSR and social legitimacy, Evolving role of stakeholders, Ethical and economic arguments for CSR, Technologies coming with the Industry 4.0, Emerging social challenges and New CSR models.
